Johnny Hockin

Johnny Hockin (born in Toronto) is a Canadian television personality and DJ[1]. Johnny is the host and producer of MTV's Movie Night program and a reporter for MTV News (Canada), a Canadian entertainment and pop culture news program on the Canadian version of MTV. He has interviewed celebrities such as Pharrell Williams, Q-Tip, LL Cool J, Matt Damon, Katy Perry, Matthew McConaughey and Nicolas Cage

Hockin attended McGill University for music and Ryerson University for film. Prior to appearing on MTV in 2006 Johnny started a label and club night called More Proof.

Hockin is one of the jurors on The Polaris Music Prize and a three-time presenter at their awards ceremony.[2] In 2010 he was one of the judges of the Red Bull Thre3 Style DJ Championships.[3]
